alright... its friday... we are going to view a few fun things... and you need to make sure a few things..
everything up until this past EX #2 is in for grade posts this weekend...

Promotional/Stop Motion should be a priority and you need to make sure you aren't losing focus.

Field trip forms are getting approved and I am gathering a van : for the SWCHS Commercial!

Editing / Work / Filming / Work / Look at the list on the side...

The stop motion needs to be outlined: I however am not going to look over this script.

Stop Motion...

Just how to do it.
Stop motion videos are a series of still images, editing their speed and duration, compiled in a way that describes a story or depicts a series of events...
This many times goes in collaboration with music... music is appropriate and beneficial to the images..
Most of you know now.. the 'now' songs and those with words don't always make the video.

Monday we will be looking at Stop Motion Videos... there are multiple projects going on.. you need to be able to use your time wisely and work to complete the videos...

I believe Zoe will be breaking from the T.S. so we will also be viewing videos!

Tuesday Madness

Our CrimeStoppers craziness has been burned and delivered.. good luck you 3!

I have to work to organize the 'field trip' for the humane society so field trip forms will be coming soon and we will officially be looking at these dates:  WED- May 1st  &  May 8th  this will give us a bit of flexibility prior and also enough time to edit.

ALSO: new dates and projects added to side bar.

I have updated skyward and graded the videos submitted aside from Todd and Shull's.

Rubrics are on back file cabinet.... we will talk about the 50

D.Thompson- Remind me... I have to chat with you about siblings.. which is very funny mind you.

Today: MONDAY

Cal: I have an idea for you... a script that would be a great promotional video...

SWCHS- We have a script outline and the discussion needs to start on how we would like to do this.
I need to have some dedicated go-getters to get the clip together.
(2) 30sec clips- 1-focused on cats / 1-focused on dogs.

 We NEED to work.
ALL equipment needs to get in on WEDNESDAY.

Crimestoppers video will get burned and will be submitted this week to the committee.

Friday: Workday!

Working.. we will be chatting a bit about the humane society script.
We may not need as many extras but we can get together and see how it will work.

Thursday FUN

We will gather for some date picking and I will continue to meet with the rest of you- give me your updates on where you are at...
The countdown starts and you need to realize that you have the completion of your promotional video, a stop motion video, and then you will also have one more exercise to complete... you have less than 9 weeks to do this.
AND if possible we will work in some side fun.. but if you are working on these projects and even sides of your own then you will be busy.
USE your time wisely..... I can't stress this enough.

Work Day...

I will be talking with the humane society on Thursday... Lets find some dates that work for us.

This kind of community work is great and doing this will allow you to get that info in on application papers- volunteer for Humane Society Commercial.  :)

Also, this hour... I am going to be talking to all of you one-on-one... lets figure out where you are, what you need to get done or what you could be doing.

EXAMPLE_

Ms. Tonn, I really want to do a promotional video on (some activity that you would like it to be nicer for.... bike/board/something that uses wheels).  So I can't do that video at the moment.  What should I do?

Well, that is NOT a problem.  Your next project is a stop motion video.  It will need to be about a minute long.  Which will definitely need work choosing what you would like to do, the setting, the interaction, the sounds/audio... SO, I would start with that NOW. 

You also have your #2 exercise due next week.

SWC Humane Society

this is going to be a great opportunity for us to work with the community.

Etc.

When it comes to the community we need to utterly AWESOME.  

It is important for you, if you do sign up to make sure the dates are a for sure and you are committed.  This place is great and we are really lucky to have a new facility for the animals of South Wood County.
