Flash Mob w/ pep band.

The pep band has worked on some nights by fun this year and we could end with them coming through and playing in the cafeteria.
Done.
The dance could be to a variety of song clips....

We are Going Over Promotional Video Tomorrow.. Realize: Spring Break starts this Thursday... What are you going to need to do over break?!

Tomorrow we will be reviewing some of Premiere : meaning Zoe.. I am borrowing your set-up for a bit.
All of us will partake.. if you aren't needing the review then by all means : EDIT AWAY!

Alright..
For movement around school we will be using the passes hanging in the office... this will let people know what class you are in and that you are filming...
Also.. This week we will have some set deadlines for a few of your projects...
This is kind of a heads up on what is in store:

Friday Fun....
We looked at some videos earlier this week...
I want to interact with you on how they are going and we can critique together your work.
*an appropriate use conversation would be beneficial for us... and that will happen today also.
You all are doing great.. when you can literally laugh out loud at your work if humor is what you are going for.. you've made that happen.
The scare tactic is working also.
All of this means lots of good stuff is in store!!!

Work.
Grades will be in for videos this week.
Grades will also be in for script write-ups.
I have gone through those that have been brought in and have commented.
Some are simple comments others.. need more thought from you.
Exercises are due this Friday.
-if this is not going to be met... kelsey would be a great example of this- talk to me.
Expectations are the same with Exercises:
Opening Title - transition into effect - Closing credits.
Make sure you are citing the tutorials you are working with.
ALSO: Quick 50 Program video - side project option.
Wood County Crime Stoppers Board of Directors challenged students in the county to make a video.
The video has to be between one and two minutes in length. The words Crime Stoppers and Quick 50 need to be used. The phone number needs to be somewhere and it needs to be in a school setting.
Prize: $200+pizza. $150. $100
This is a great side project for the community.
If you are choosing to do this I am open to this taking precedence over another project.

Friday Fun-day..
We are going to look at a few more walking videos at the end of class..
I have permission slips for students interested in the commercial... I will talk with those of you that have requested to go.
If anyone is checking equipment out.. we do that in the beginning of the hour.
Everyone is expected to bring equipment back in on Monday.
Evals will be shared with you on video expectations over the weekend... this is your rubric that is applied to your videos when you are finished.
You fill it out and evaluate yourself... Then it is my turn.
Exercises are due March 8th.. don't forget.
Videos will have time = move along but know if you start wasting time and falling behind we will still continue moving and you need to figure out how to keep up.
