WRVA Days 3 - 4 - 5

3-

Script writing - Walking Video

Filming
- write down the camera bag number - this is your camera for this project
- everyone should film but not everyone needs to play a role in the film
- yes there is a list of expected shots - I am good with you NOT doing them all as long as you get enough footage to get to 2min and it's interesting to watch.... That's the tricky part.  BUT audio plays a HUGE role in interesting!

- no, you don't only use what you filmed.  you can use everyone's footage (TEAM)

4-

Uploading footage into Premiere Pro
BE Patient... more with me than anything but also with your clicking!
The WORST thing we have to deal with in regards to video is where we put things.  It is necessary for you to be thorough in your importing of footage and audio placement.
The more you put on your computers, the slower they become.

Editing Titles
Titles can be animated with Key Frames and positions can be changed, etc.
It also shows you how to save it as a TEMPLATE to use at a later date!
This is in addition to Simple Title Making - but it helps build your knowledge bank!

Adding Motion to Titles Tutorial using the effects control and some Color Correction

Work Spaces!!!!
Color and the advantage of being able to change work spaces - Awesome Color Grade and Color Correction Tutorial to encourage you to understand color in film
This guy is great and he goes into the way you can take advantage of color in your video, be specific with tones.

5-

Review yesterday's adventure.
Open Premiere - remind ourselves how we import footage.
Review of the few tutorials above - more pertaining to Titles and Motion.
We aren't working for perfect.  We're working for progress.  Every day we get better and that's what this class is about!
HUGE THANKS to you guys transferring information to each other as you learn it!

Production LOGO - New Project - or preset
This is what will start all your video projects.
Make it appropriate and own it!
