Introduction to Action - Comedy - Horror Video Project
Video containing the following: -Title -Production Logo -2 minute video based on the assignment page received at the beginning of the semester --Color Correction - adjustment layer --Foley --Speed and duration effect -Rolling credits (see the must have tab for credit information -Copyright Free Music (all music must be cited) and/or Audio that accompanies the theme of the video... Audio is the best form of communication! Also this week - Exercises! What are they and why are we doing them?
Today - I want you to get everything going for your video.
If you need more clips, get them.
If you need audio, get it.
If you need to do the speed and duration or color correction tutorial, do that.
If you need to redo your Walking Video Title, finish your production logo, or do a rolling credit, get after it!
Reminder - Your Script will accompany your self-evaluation.
Credits should include: Ultimate Guide... Director - Writers - Producer - Executive Producer - Lead Cast - Supporting Cast - Editor - Associate Producers - Costume Designer - Music Composer or Citing of Music and all audio and/or voice over
All footage completed for video - REMINDER- short 3-5sec clips and a lot of them, some can even have the same frame happening from different perspectives.
Hey guys - yesterday got away from me and I forgot to tell you I wouldn't be at LHS today.
You have two exercises to accomplish today on your own .. or helping each other out if needed.
Yesterday we began the work on a clip to learn about time remapping, freeze frames, and speed and durations.
I want you to go through the tutorial on it and do it or yourself. It is best to have a clip with motion- for example, walking.
Get a pair of headphones from the supply closet and go for it.
Keep this clip separate like we talked about yesterday.. meaning further down on your sequence in your walking video.
The second exercise you will do is on color correction.
You can apply this adjustment layer to the clip you used for the slow motion/freeze frame exercise.
The tutorial talks about the lumetri effect and you will notice he is in his color workspace.
Workspaces are located at the top of your premiere window, currently, we are all in our editing workspace.

I really like tutorials because I can stop, rewind, stop, rewind, and continue on as I'm ready.
This will be great! At your pace and working on two aspects that are needed in video creating and editing.

We've used photoshop to help us get the desired look - you can add audio to enhance the logo.

Uploading from camera to D-drive- Footage Folder

- open and select the footage you filmed
- drag footage to D-drive footage folder by hovering over student storage, your name, footage folder and drop it in

- yes there is a list of expected shots - I am good with you adjusting them all as long as you get enough footage to get to 2min and it's interesting to watch.... That's the tricky part. BUT audio plays a HUGE role in interesting!
